Private Trust Companies

Our own trust company is managed in accordance with the practices that we develop as a professional trustee. We need to take a particular approach to risk management, for example.

Some clients can benefit from the incorporation of a separate company to act as trustee of the family trusts.

A private trust company will give the following particular benefits:

• ability to involve the whole family in the trusteeship as directors of the trustee company
• freedom from the policy constraints of a professional trustee

• an alternative approach to the regulatory framework than is applied to a professional trustee.
